Michelle Lewis, MBA

VP, Marketing & Business Development

In her role, Michelle leads marketing and business development for all of IHA’s programs and initiatives. Those include the Symphony Provider Directory, Align. Measure. Perform. (AMP) programs, California Healthcare Cost & Quality Atlas, and the Encounter Data Governance Entity, an initiative to improve encounter data collection and reporting. In previous roles with IHA , Michelle was Senior Marketing Director, overseeing all of IHA’s marketing initiatives, and Marketing Director for the Symphony Provider Directory.

Michelle has broad expertise in marketing, communications, product management, sales, and business strategy. Before joining IHA, she worked as Chief of Staff to the CEO of a durable medical equipment company, directing and executing strategies for acquisitions, product launches, corporate communications, and organizational changes. She also led marketing planning and strategy at a prenatal and cancer genetic screening company and served as Marketing Director for a cardiovascular genetic testing company, handling all aspects of marketing and product management. She has also held product management, sales, and research roles at medical device and life sciences companies.

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of California, San Diego, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. She completed a fellowship in Design Thinking at the California College of Arts.
