You should be a self-starter, have a strong background in usability design, wireframe development, requirements gathering, technical writing, and exceptional verbal communication skills. Core job duties and responsibilities:

  • Product lifecycle management from concept to launch of the product(s) across all products/product lines
  • Lead, define, represent, and communicate product strategy to all stakeholders
  • Build incredible product roadmaps and processes to deliver products that satisfy the needs of customers
  • Own the product roadmap and communicate with C-level staff, board members, and other stakeholders
  • Translating product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Product planning and assignment of tasks and deliverables
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and metrics
  • Assess product development sprints and enhancement opportunities
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
  • Develop relationships with customers and ensure we have direct customer input when building our product
  • Evangelize and excite our customers and internal stakeholders
  • Specifying and overseeing the research needed to determine the needs and desires of customers
  • Drive innovative ideas, solutions and products through leadership and decisive action
  • Using market research to get ideas for products that customers will want
  • Comparing the company’s products to competitor’s products in order to assess competition in the market
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience. Identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
  • Represent the company by engaging with customers to solicit feedback on company products and services


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or Design or comparable work experience
  • 7-10+ years of experience in product management with high traffic product solutions for members
  • Experience in the Health Care industry
  • Experience working with sets of standard performance measures that provide information about the quality of a health plan
  • Experience with clinical software systems or electronic health record (EHR) systems, including certification, management, or maintenance of HITECH, HITRUST
  • Knowledge of industry standard healthcare message specifications, such as HL7, FHIR and EDI X12
  • Demonstrated past success, and enjoyment from working in a small, fast-paced, professional environment. Desire to be helpful in any way needed to support the team, program, and organization.
  • Strong leader with proven ability to validate product solutions and deliver features from inception to delivery
  • Takes responsibility for outcomes and actions to correct problems
  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycles and agile
  • Values collaboration and seeks opportunities to build relationships
  • Passion for analyzing existing products’ functions to determine new features & requirements to enhance our customers’ user experience & ensure maximum potential usability
  • Experience developing strategic product roadmaps working w/ UX, design, and engineering
  • Excellent communicator and presenter, both written and verbal
  • Excited and curious about complex problems and systems
  • Knows how to balance the competing demands of innovation, quality, architectural/operational improvements & customer feedback
  • Skilled leading collaboration across engineering, design, marketing, sales & executive leadership
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
