  Gail Rusin
Program Manager, Pay for Performance Program

Gail Rusin is Program Manager for the California Pay for Performance (P4P) Program. She is responsible for supporting the adoption of efficiency measures in P4P and ensuring that the nascent efficiency program runs smoothly. She also provides critical support to P4P committees in areas such as developing proposals and fostering collaboration.

Ms. Rusin's tenure in the healthcare industry spans over 15 years and includes extensive experience in project management, analytics, client service, management, research, and competitive intelligence. She has worked at CIGNA in various capacities, including medical economics, and at Kaiser Permanente in competitive intelligence. Ms. Rusin has led large, multi-departmental projects and directed complex analyses on a wide variety of topics. Most recently, she worked for a medical group/IPA in the Coachella Valley in southern California, where one of her primary roles was project manager for the launch of new program to care for the frail elderly.

Ms. Rusin received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UC Berkeley and earned her Masters of Business Administration from UC Davis.
